MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The Marion Police Department is excited to announce the upcoming Citizens Police Academy, titled “A Day In The Life,” set to begin in March 2025. This eight-week program offers participants a unique opportunity to experience a day in the life of a Marion City police officer, from the start of their shift to the end.
The academy will run from March 6 to April 24, 2025, with classes held in the evenings from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Upon graduation, participants will have the chance to join the Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (CPAAA), a group of dedicated volunteers who assist with community events and projects.
