MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The 44th annual Marion Popcorn Festival will feature three nights of free live entertainment on its Main Stage, September 4-6 in downtown Marion.

Kicking off the festivities on Thursday, September 4, will be OUT OF EDEN – A Tribute to the EAGLES. The 7-piece band from Northeast Ohio, presented by Buckeye Community School, will replicate the music and vocal harmonies of the legendary Eagles, Don Henley, and Joe Walsh, performing hits such as “Hotel California” and “Take It Easy.” Local group Hard Drive will open the Main Stage entertainment at 6:00 p.m.

Friday, September 5, will feature American Idol Season 19 Champion CHAYCE BECKHAM. The country artist, known for his platinum #1 hit “23,” will take the stage.
Wrapping up the Main Stage on Saturday, September 6, is the heavy metal rock and roll phenomenon QUIET RIOT. With over 15 million records sold worldwide, the band, famous for their #1 album “Metal Health” and hits like “Cum on Feel the Noize,” will close out the entertainment.
All headlining bands will perform at 8:30 p.m., following 6:00 p.m. opening bands (to be announced for Friday and Saturday) and sponsor recognition during the festival’s Opening Ceremonies.
The Marion Popcorn Festival will also include a parade on Thursday, a 5K Run, a fine arts show, vendors, a corn hole tournament, and more.
