MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW) — The philanthropic group, 100 Women Who Care, based in Marion, Ohio, has made a significant impact on their community in 2024, donating a total of $34,102 to four local non-profit organizations.

The beneficiaries of this year’s donations include Homeless to Home Animal Rescue and Cat Sanctuary, Turning Point, Heart of Ohio Homeless Shelter, and Chapel Hill House. These organizations play a crucial role in addressing various community needs, from animal welfare to homelessness.

Since its inception in 2014, 100 Women Who Care has contributed a staggering$208,673.33 to the Marion community. Their mission is to bring together women in the community who care about local causes and who are committed to community service.

The group is inviting the public to join them this evening, Feb. 5, at 1126 East Center St. Doors open at 5:30 PM, with the meeting scheduled from 6-7 PM. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the group’s work and how they can contribute to making a positive impact on the community.

100 Women Who Care encourages individuals to give $100 four times a year or form a team to combine donations. Their collective giving strategy amplifies the impact of individual contributions, allowing them to support more causes and make a significant difference in their community.
