MORROW COUNTY, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office has issued a traffic advisory for residents and commuters near the Marengo, I-71, and SR-61 interchange area.
The warning comes as the Cardinal Center Campground prepares to host the Secret Dreams Festival over the upcoming Labor Day weekend.
Event-related traffic signage is being deployed throughout the area starting today as attendees begin arriving at the venue. Authorities are warning local motorists to anticipate heavier-than-normal traffic and increased congestion throughout the holiday weekend.
The Sheriff’s Office has identified the following areas as likely to experience significant delays:
* County Road 15 at SR-61
* County Road 218 behind the Cardinal Center
* The I-71 and SR-61 interchange
Officials are encouraging drivers to plan ahead by allowing for additional travel time. Motorists are urged to exercise caution and remain alert for increased vehicle and pedestrian activity in these corridors.
