MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—As the April 15 personal income tax deadline looms, the Ohio Department of Taxation is taking steps to ensure taxpayers have the support they need. The department is expanding its customer service phone line and Welcome Center hours to accommodate last-minute filers.

On Saturday, April 13, the Welcome Center will be open from 9 a.m. to noon. Additionally, phone lines will be extended to 7 p.m. on April 10, 11, 12, and 15. Phone lines will also be available from 9 a.m. until noon on April 13th.

These extended hours are part of the department’s commitment to providing excellent customer service, especially during the high-demand tax season. Taxpayers are encouraged to take advantage of these extended hours for any last-minute tax filing needs.
