MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The Marion Palace Theatre is seeking performers for its upcoming production of “Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding,” an immersive dinner theater experience where the audience becomes part of the show. The Off-Broadway hit will be presented on the Palace’s main stage and in the May Pavilion Aug. 22-24, 2025.

Director Julia Vanderhoff and the production team will hold open auditions Sunday, June 22, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Marion Palace Theatre.

Auditions will consist solely of improvised scenes, with no prepared material required. Performers must be comfortable interacting directly with the audience while in character. While most roles do not require singing, those interested in singing roles should prepare approximately one minute of a wedding or reception-style song with a comedic twist.

“Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding” invites guests to a humorous Italian-American wedding, featuring family drama, laughter and extensive audience participation. The production aims to create an unforgettable experience, with every cast member contributing to the lively atmosphere.
