MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train at a CSX crossing in Marion on Monday, according to the Marion Police Department.
The incident occurred at 4:02 p.m. on Nov. 27, 2023, at the CSX crossing on W. Center near Curve Street. Upon arrival, officers found the pedestrian deceased. The identity of the victim is not being released at this time.
The Marion Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Marion Fire Department, the Marion County Coroner’s Office, and CSX personnel.
