MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—A Marion man is in custody following a drug raid conducted by the MARMET Drug Task Force on March 13, 2024.
Officers executed search warrants at two locations, with the primary target being a residence located at 207 Neil Ave. in Marion. The warrants stemmed from a narcotics investigation and were authorized by Marion Municipal Court Judge Teresa Ballinger.
During the search, law enforcement seized approximately 410 grams of crack cocaine, over $3,000 in cash, and drug paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
Marion resident Ulysses Sims Jr. was arrested at the scene and transported to the Multi-County Correctional Center. Formal charges, including possession of drugs with potential additional charges, will be presented to the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office for review by Ray Grogan.
