Shawn Gerald Watson, age 47 of Marion, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, January 25, 2024.
Shawn was born on August 10, 1976 to David and Sandi (Humphries) Watson in Youngstown, Ohio.
Shawn served our country in the United States Navy. He was a crane operator for Sim Bros. for 12 years. Also, he belonged to the American Legion Post #162 of Marion, Ohio. Shawn will be missed by family and friends.
Those who will cherish his memories include his parents, David and Sandi Watson of Marion, Ohio; his children: Shawn Andrew (Tatum) Watson of Upper Sandusky, Ohio and Alec Watson of Minneapolis, Minnesota; his brothers: Brian David Watson of Marion, Ohio and Keith Michael Watson of Marion, Ohio; and his grandchildren: Rhett Watson, Jaxtyn Watson, Ansley Watson and Elania Watson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 starting at 12pm at the American Legion Post #162, 531 Bellefontaine Avenue, Marion, Ohio 43302. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Watson family.
