This enriching program, funded by the Marion County Council on Aging through the local senior services levy, offers more than just meals and medical support. It provides a vibrant, supportive community that helps seniors thrive. Whether it’s participating in a favorite activity, laughing with friends, or enjoying a quiet moment, Barb knows she belongs.
Her son, Rick, says the impact on their family has been profound. “My mom loves the people there—she calls them her friends,” he shares. “The Center is truly a blessing. I work full-time, and knowing my mom is safe, happy, and cared for gives me tremendous relief. I really hope our community will continue to support this program.”
