MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW) — Community members are invited to support Alzheimer’s awareness and care during “Spud-Tacular Memories: Loaded with Love for ALZ,” a fundraising event scheduled for July 24 at the Marion County Building.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the County Auditor’s Office, located at 222 W. Center St., and will feature a baked potato bar, a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction.

Organizers say the event aims to bring together community members for an afternoon of food, fellowship and support while raising funds for Alzheimer’s awareness and services.

Participants are encouraged to wear purple, the color associated with Alzheimer’s awareness, to show support for those affected by the disease.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Alzheimer’s awareness and support efforts.

Those wishing to donate or prepay for a meal may do so through the event’s online registration link. For more information, contact Amber Davis at 740-223-4020.
