MORROW COUNTY, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—Authorities have arrested a suspect following the discovery of a deceased man on the side of the road in Morrow County Thursday morning.
According to reports, the sheriff’s office received a 911 call around 9:40 a.m. regarding a body found in a ditch along County Road 24.
Upon arrival, deputies located the body approximately 10 feet off the road within a thicket.
The deceased was identified as 72-year-old David Frazier, a resident of Marion who had been reported missing.
Following the identification of the victim, the investigation led authorities to Columbus, where they executed a search warrant. Jeremy Ray Frazier, 47, was arrested and charged with murder, tampering with evidence, and abuse of a corpse. He is currently being held in the Franklin County Jail.
Frazier is set to make his initial court appearance on Saturday.
