INDIAN LAKE, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—Three West Mansfield residents, identified as Jeffrey Rivers, 62, Edward Langley, 37, and Brandy Durnell, 37, have been arrested on charges of grand theft, according to the Logan County Sheriff’s Department.
The trio was apprehended after deputies discovered a vehicle and trailer filled with various items, including bicycles, clothing totes, and a motorcycle, in a Bellefontaine parking lot shortly after midnight. The suspects claimed they found the motorcycle unattended in a Lakeview storage unit and intended to turn it over to law enforcement.
However, upon contacting the motorcycle’s owner, it was revealed that no one had been granted permission to access the motorcycle. The suspects are now facing grand theft charges and are scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday. Bonds have been set at $5,000 each.
The confiscated items are currently being held at the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
