Tracey Alan Cooperider (February 12, 1964 – November 11, 2024) of Marion has passed away peacefully and mercifully, surrounded by his loving family after a long-term battle with heart disease. Tracey was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend to all who knew him well.

He is survived by his wife Yvonne (Ferguson) Cooperider of Marion; daughter Brandie (Michael) Rorick of Marion; sons Quinton (Lauren) Cooperider and Tyler Cooperider, both of Marysville; brother Todd (Ursula) Cooperider of Columbus; sister Dena (Brad) Seckel of Marion; sister Jenny (Joel) Hagy of Huron, Ohio; step-father Allen (Pam) Gruber, of Marion; grandchildren Jade, Landon and Savannah and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara (Barrett) Gruber and his father Ronald Cooperider.

Tracey was a beloved mentor and wrestling coach to local school and community youth athletes, dedicating much of his time to growing support for the sport he loved. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his love of nature, his adoration for his dogs, his strength and perseverance in the face of his illness and his dynamic spirit through it all. Tracey’s friends and family are invited to calling hours from 11 am to 1 pm Saturday, November 23 hosted by Boyd Funeral Home in Marion with a celebration of life service to immediately follow.
