MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—United Church Homes (UCH) has announced its new designation as a Caregiver-Friendly Employer, highlighting its commitment to supporting employees who balance professional responsibilities with caregiving at home.
As part of this initiative, UCH is offering its NaviGuide services free of charge to employees, providing personalized guidance and resources to help navigate the complexities of caregiving. UCH aims to foster a workplace culture that values and supports team members in every aspect of their lives.
Through NaviGuide, UCH employees now have access to:
- Expert guidance to navigate caregiving challenges
- Personalized support to maintain work-life balance
- Resources and tools to make informed decisions for their loved ones
- Peace of mind, knowing they don’t have to do it alone
“Many of our employees are challenged in juggling their caregiving responsibilities at home with their engagement at work,” said Scott Slutz, Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Culture Officer. “We’ve found that supporting them with NaviGuide has provided much-needed relief and allows them to maintain a healthy and holistic balance that ultimately improves outcomes and mental health.”
Employees are already experiencing the benefits firsthand. Kim Yoder, NaviGuide Program Director, shared, “A significant number of employees have already used the service and have provided testimony that it has been a life-saver program, allowing them to get questions answered and services in place that have made a real difference in their work life and in their home life.”
