COLUMBUS, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—United Producers Inc. (UPI), one of the nation’s largest livestock marketing cooperatives, is proud to announce the availability of up to 10 scholarships, each valued at $1,500, for high school students embarking on their higher education journey.
The scholarship program is part of UPI’s commitment to fostering the growth of the next generation. “High school students who have demonstrated a passion for the agriculture industry possess a promising future, with the potential to positively influence various career fields,” said John Marihugh, Vice President of Strategy, Communications & Member Services. “We eagerly anticipate the significant contributions these students will make as they pursue higher education and embark on their future careers.”

To qualify, applicants must be a 2024 high school graduate with plans to attend college or technical school. Applicants must submit an application along with an essay outlining their college and career aspirations. It’s important to note that children and grandchildren of full-time UPI employees or members of the Board of Directors are not eligible for this scholarship.
