CLEVELAND, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for portions of north central, northeast, and northwest Ohio, effective from 1 p.m. Saturday to 1 a.m. EST Sunday.

The advisory warns of mixed precipitation, with total snow accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of up to two-tenths of an inch expected. The affected areas include regions north of Highway 30, while areas closer to central Ohio may experience lesser amounts of freezing rain due to temperatures rising above freezing on Saturday afternoon.

Residents are advised to plan for slippery road conditions and to exercise caution while traveling. The National Weather Service recommends slowing down and using caution to ensure safety on the roads during the advisory period.
