MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The Meadows of Marion, a skilled nursing facility, is expanding its services to include advanced respiratory care, starting April 1st. Brad, representing the facility, shared details about the new service and the facility’s offerings in a recent interview.
The Meadows of Marion, located at 155 Marion Cardington Road West, is a 99-bed facility that provides physical, occupational, and speech therapies, as well as long-term care for individuals who can no longer live independently.
“We are going to start doing our vent service line,” Brad explained. “We are going to start off with non-invasive vents. There was a machine called a trilogy, which is similar to someone who has a BiPAP or CPAP. But the trilogy actually gives breaths per minute.”
This service is designed for individuals with advanced COPD, MS, ALS, or other conditions that impair their ability to breathe independently. The facility will provide 24-hour nursing care, with a registered nurse on staff seven days a week, in addition to the therapy and activities programs.
The Meadows of Marion opened in October 2024 and is part of Foundations Health Solutions, an Ohio-based company that owns over 80 facilities in the state. Currently, the facility is licensed for 90 beds and is working towards filling its capacity.
Individuals interested in learning more about the Meadows of Marion or scheduling a tour can visit the facility’s website at meadowshyphenmarion.net or call Courtney Mall, the admissions coordinator, at 937-267-6700. The main number for the facility is 740-914-5900.
“We pretty much have anyone that’s in their 50s and older,” Brad said. “We don’t take kids under 18.”
Tours of the facility are available during business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Weekend tours can be arranged by appointment.
