MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The Marion Palace Theatre is hosting a limited-run screening of the powerful music drama “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere,” a film that chronicles Bruce Springsteen’s introspective journey in creating his seminal 1982 album, “Nebraska.”

The Palace Cultural Arts Association (PCAA) announced the showing, which will take place on the historic venue’s big screen at 276 W. Center St.

The film is based on Warren Zanes’ acclaimed book and captures the soul-searching creative process behind one of Springsteen’s most raw and important works, recorded on a four-track even as he worked on his massive hit album “Born in the U.S.A.” with the E Street Band.

Showtimes are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 15 at 2 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. The Saturday matinee is listed to include open captions, if available.

Tickets are available for purchase at the door only, beginning 45 minutes prior to each showtime. General admission is $5, and PCAA members with a valid card receive a discounted rate of $3.

The film is rated PG-13 and has a runtime of approximately one hour and 59 minutes. Concessions, including soda, water, candy, and popcorn, will be available for $3 each.

The Palace Cultural Arts Association encourages residents to take advantage of this unique opportunity to experience an inspiring look at the rock icon’s creative spirit. For additional information, patrons can contact the Marion Palace Theatre Box Office at 740-383-2101 or visit marionpalace.org.
