BRINKHAVEN, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)— In the early hours of Christmas, deputies from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Mount Vernon City Police Department, responded to reports of shots fired and a potential shooting incident.
Upon their arrival at the scene, law enforcement engaged in a short barricade situation, leading to the detention of three individuals.
Major Crimes Detectives were summoned to assist with the investigation, which included a search of the residence where authorities seized a significant amount of narcotics and weapons.
While it was confirmed that shots had indeed been fired, officials reported that no one had sustained injuries in the incident.
All three subjects detained were subsequently arrested and taken into custody.
