MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—If you’ve been wanting to build your confidence, speak up more, or grow into a leadership role, this is a great opportunity to take that step.
North Central State College Workforce Development is offering a free Women in Leadership workshop focused on real, practical skills you can use right away.
Led by Kim Jenney, this isn’t a sit-and-listen type of session. It’s interactive, down-to-earth, and centered around real-life situations, whether that’s navigating challenges at work, communicating more clearly, or learning how to advocate for yourself.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll take time to identify your strengths, reflect on how you’re showing up, and learn simple ways to build confidence and presence. There’s also honest conversation around the barriers many women face, and more importantly, how to move through them.
You’ll get the chance to practice things like speaking up, making “the ask,” and handling conversations that don’t always come easy. There’s also a strong focus on building connections and growing your network in a way that feels natural.
One of the most valuable parts of the session is the time to pause and really think about where you are, where you want to go, and what steps will help you get there.
You’ll leave with a clear, realistic action plan, and at least one step you can take right away.
The workshop is free, but space is limited. Only 10 spots remain, and once they’re filled, registration will close.
To register or learn more, contact Leah Bisel at North Central State College by calling (419) 755-4526 or emailing lbisel@ncstatecollege.edu.
If you’ve been waiting for the right time to invest in yourself, this might be it.
