MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—April is Occupational Therapy Month—a time to celebrate the meaningful impact occupational therapy has on the lives of our residents at Marion Valley Post Acute.

In skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), occupational therapy (OT) plays a vital role in helping individuals maintain independence, rebuild skills, and enjoy a better quality of life.

Occupational therapists focus on what matters most to each resident: safely and confidently participating in daily activities. Through personalized care plans, OTs support both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents by addressing functional challenges, preventing falls, adapting environments, and promoting overall well-being.
