MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW) — Families looking for a fun way to celebrate the holiday season can mark their calendars for Saturday, Dec. 5, when The Explore-It-Torium Children’s Museum of Marion hosts its annual Cookies with Santa celebration.

The popular holiday event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at the museum, located at 244 S. Main St. in Marion.

Children will have the opportunity to meet Santa Claus, share their Christmas wish lists, and have their pictures taken with him. Cookies and juice will also be available, adding a little extra holiday sweetness to the afternoon.

Admission is $6 per person and includes the visit with Santa as well as full access to the entire Explore-It-Torium facility. Families can enjoy the museum’s activities and exhibits while making memories together during the holiday season.

Holiday Fun for the Whole Family

Cookies with Santa offers families an opportunity to enjoy a holiday tradition while exploring everything The Explore-It-Torium has to offer.

While children spend time with Santa and participate in activities throughout the museum, parents can also take advantage of a little shopping at reMARCAble, the retail store located inside the facility.

The store features merchandise created by local vendors, along with apparel and other products from the reMARCAbly Made brand. It provides shoppers with an opportunity to discover locally made items and find distinctive gifts during the holiday shopping season.
