COLUMBUS, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—State Rep. Riordan McClain (R-Upper Sandusky) has announced that four projects in the 87th House District have received grant funding to combat substance misuse by supporting prevention, treatment, and recovery efforts.

The following organizations received grant funding from the OneOhio Recovery Foundation:

  • Marion-Crawford Prevention Programs: $174,661 for “A Community’s Response to Preventing Substance Abuse” and $330,000 for “Building Better Communities”
  • Wyandot Memorial Coalition: $99,170 for the “Healing Opioid Patients Through Empowerment (HOPE) Project”
  • Morrow County Court of Common Pleas: $200,302.66 for the “Morrow County Probation Services Transportation Initiative”

“It is important that we have multiple organizations ready to help those who need support treating and recovering from their addiction,” said McClain. “Through continued partnerships between the state and local level, we will be able to help more Ohioans.”
